Achintee Farm Hostel
At the start of Ben Nevis footpath, quiet country hostel, no large groups, wifi access,
bar meals 100m, 2km. from Fort William and end of West Highland Way and Great Glen Way.
Achintee Farm Hostel offers a peaceful and relaxing stay with plenty of walking right from the door and beauitful mountain views all around.
This small country hostel is attached to the side of the main farmhouse.
The hostel consists of three separate units each with its own self-catering kitchen, toilet and shower. There is wifi access in the hostel.
One unit contains two twin rooms; one a triple and a twin bedroom; and the third is a small en-suite dormitory sleeping 5 in bunk beds.
All bedding is provided and towels can be hired.
There are two efficient drying rooms with heaters and dehumidifiers. We also do laundry by arrangement at £2 a carrier bag ( wash and dry).
The old stone barn up the drive has been converted into a friendly restaurant and bar.
The nearest shop ( Spar) is one mile away, open 7:30 a.m. till 9:30 p.m.
We do not take large groups.
Achintee is also centrally located for day trips touring to for example: Loch Ness, the Isle of Skye, and the white sandy beaches at Morar.
Take the steam train to Mallaig, a bost trip to Seal Island , or a montain cable car ride at Aonach Mor.
We also have a Guest House if you want to spoil yourself.
